This policy explains what information SellSmart ("we," "us") collects when you use this website and the SellSmart app, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what you give us in the home-value quiz and at checkout, we use it to deliver what you asked for, and we never sell or share your information with real estate agents or lead brokers.
We use a small number of service providers to make the product work: Netlify (website hosting and form storage), RentCast (we send your property address and home details to generate your valuation), Google Maps (address autocomplete and map display, when you type an address), and Gumroad (payments and product delivery). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function. Inside the downloadable SellSmart app, your checklist progress is stored only on your own device; the app's help assistant answers its built-in suggested questions entirely on your device; only if you type your own free-form question is that question sent to our AI provider to generate an answer.
Quiz leads are kept while useful for the purposes above. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — email team@esmailimedia.com and we'll remove it from our systems within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example California's CCPA or the EU's GDPR), you may also have rights to access, correct, or port your data — the same email handles those requests.
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know the categories of personal information we collect (identifiers such as name, phone, and email; property address and home characteristics; and basic internet activity via server logs) and the purposes above; delete your personal information; correct inaccurate information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email team@esmailimedia.com; we will verify your request (for example, by matching the contact details you submitted) and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit requests.
Links to third-party sites and services (for example flat-fee MLS providers, government registries, or our payment processor) are governed by those parties' own privacy policies — review them before providing information.
We don't run cross-site tracking, so we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals — there is nothing to track.
This site and product are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
